Linking devices
You can link devices by joining one device to another’s network. You may also link the devices to an external, existing network.
Linking one device to another
First, ensure your devices are powered on and are visible in the saved devices list. If the devices aren’t yet in the saved devices list, follow the Setup New Device guide before proceeding.
From the saved devices list, press the triple dots icon (⋮). On one of the devices, press “Change Network” and select the network of the other device. The app will connect to each device and set them up accordingly. You may be prompted to confirm network changes. If this happens, press “Join.”
Once finished, you can navigate back to the saved devices list and confirm that one device appears under the other.
Linking to an external network
If you are connecting a device to an external network, you can open up the device’s UI by tapping on it in the saved devices screen. From here, navigate to the device’s settings, select “Network”, and ensure “Connect to Wi-Fi network” is switched on. Press “SCAN” to scan for the external network you wish to connect to and you may be prompted to enter the network’s password.
Once you have entered the network information, you can either press “REBOOT” or press the home button. A screen will appear that will set up the connection settings within the app. Once finished, you can navigate back to the saved devices list and confirm that the device appears under the new network.
For multiple devices, you can do this on one device, then use the “Change network” interface in the triple dots menu (⋮).
