Configure
RC-01 button behavior is fully configurable from within the Accutroll app. Each button’s single-click and double-click actions can be assigned independently, giving you up to six configurable user slots across buttons 1, 2, and 3—plus the option to override the default behavior of the Plus and Minus buttons.
Opening the RC-01 Configuration
- In the Accutroll app, go to the Device List view.
- Locate the RC-01 under Remote Controls.
- Tap the ⋮ (kebab) menu on the remote’s device tile.
- Select Configure.
This opens the RC-01 configuration page where you can define the action or series of actions associated with each button slot.
Button Slot Types
Each configurable slot supports one of three assignment types:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Single Action | A single instruction that executes immediately when the button is pressed—for example, jumping to a cruise speed preset. |
| One-Shot Macro | A sequence of actions that executes once in order and then stops. Useful for scripted maneuvers like a controlled stall or a timed throttle ramp. |
| Repeating Macro | A sequence of actions that loops continuously from the beginning until interrupted by the user. Useful for sustained patterns like varying the throttle up and down continuously. |
Configurable Button Slots
User Buttons (1, 2, 3)
Each of the three user buttons supports independent single-click and double-click assignments, providing six configurable slots in total. Each slot can be assigned a preset action or a macro—a sequence of actions to execute in order.
| Button | Single Click | Double Click |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Configurable | Configurable |
| 2 | Configurable | Configurable |
| 3 | Configurable | Configurable |
Plus and Minus Buttons
By default, Plus and Minus adjust throttle or cruise speed by 1% (single-click) and 5% (double-click). These defaults can be overridden per slot to assign any supported action or macro.
Speed Lock and Idle/Resume button behavior is fixed and cannot be reassigned.
Available Actions
Each button slot can be assigned a single action or a sequence of actions that execute in order—called a macro. Actions are authored in the app and added to the slot one by one.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Set Throttle (Absolute) | Sets the throttle position to a specific value. |
| Set Throttle (Relative) | Adds or subtracts from the throttle’s current position. |
| Set Throttle (Multiplier) | Multiplies the current throttle position by a factor (e.g. 0.5 for half speed, 2.0 for double speed). |
| Set Cruise Speed (Absolute) | Sets the cruise speed to a specific target speed. |
| Set Cruise Speed (Relative) | Adds or subtracts from the current cruise speed. |
| Wait For… | Temporarily pauses the macro for a specified duration before continuing to the next action. |
| Reset Throttle | Sets the throttle back to its initial state prior to when the macro began executing. |
| Repeat Macro | Repeats the macro from the beginning until interrupted by the user. |
Examples
Example 1 — Cruise Speed Preset (Single Action)
Assign User Button 1 / Single Click to instantly engage cruise control at a fixed speed of 2.5 mph. This is a single-action slot with no macro sequencing required.
Actions:
- Set Cruise Speed (Absolute) → 2.5 mph
Example 2 — Programmed Stall (One-Shot Macro)
Assign User Button 3 / Double Click to execute a controlled stall sequence. This is a one-shot macro—it runs through its actions once and stops.
Actions:
- Set Throttle (Absolute) → 0%
- Wait For… → 9s
- Reset Throttle
Example 3 — Throttle Modulation (Repeating Macro)
Assign User Button 2 / Single Click to continuously modulate the throttle between two setpoints—useful for trolling patterns or rhythmic speed variation. This macro loops until the user interrupts it (e.g. by pressing Idle/Resume or Speed Lock).
Actions:
- Set Throttle (Absolute) → 30%
- Wait For… → 3m
- Set Throttle (Absolute) → 60%
- Wait For… → 3m
- Repeat Macro
